i guess i am still adjusting to life as a mom AND f/t teacher...just not enough "play" time on my computer lately. backtracking just a bit, we had a great thanksgiving in palm beach gardens with jason's parents. the kiddos actually swam on thanksgiving day which was kind of strange. we are now in our last week of school before Christmas break. yay! we're looking forward to 16 days here which includes a visit from my parents.
darci has changed her work schedule to a more normal one so we're able to see her more often. the kiddos LOVE that!
benjamin is able to write his name now. he is so cute when he goes to work on his homework at night. he makes a big deal of showing it off when he finishes.
yesterday benjamin came home from school as rudolph:) also sporting a pattern necklace he made and was pretty proud of.
tonight we went to a Christmas parade in downtown pensacola. apparently the thing to throw in parades here are beads. benjamin is a collector so he loved that papa was so tall and could catch them. lauren was pelted by several and was ready to go home quite early. we did leave with a t-shirt, stuffed animal, and a mini football , though...so not bad :)
