darci has sundays off so this afternoon benjamin and i went over and worked on some Christmas cookies with her. he just loves darci. daily he asks if she is working and if he can see her. darci rolled, cut and baked while i frosted. cookies, that is. our mom made these cookies every year for Christmas and since she and dad will be here in a few days this was the perfect time to get them ready.
tonight darci returned to our place with benjamin and we had a great dinner crock-potted by jason. the kiddos have been into making big messes with their toys lately and tonight was a great opportunity to do that with darci over.
lauren likes to help us take naps by supplying us with toys and then patting us on the back. she's pretty rough with the patting, it's actually more like whacking! it's always fun to play this with darci. i thought the football was a nice touch.

our sly lauren...this little gal is officially potty-trained! she is sporting a pull-up...mainly because we still have a few on-hand. she naps dry and wakes up dry in the morning. unfortunately without the pull-ups her pants don't want to stay up!
