i'm still adjusting to a florida fall. no bundling up for us, instead we are trying to find the right amount of clothing to avoid overheating. i am a wee bit jealous that new ulm, mn is getting snow at the moment. i knew i would be, but that will last until about jan 1. okay...back to our extended weekend.
we all had veteran's day off and spent some time at a nearby park
the park has a few misters that benjamin was trying to check out without getting too close.
lauren is still working on potty-training. she is doing better,especially at school, but has told me that she likes her pull-ups. :( here she is getting ready to 'go out' (probably to target) with her necessities.
benjamin discovered dot-to-dot puzzles friday night. once he got the hang of it he completed 3/4 of the book.
today we went to the gulf breeze zoo. benjamin was interested in feeding some of the animals at first...
but i think jason really had more fun with it!
we got to this monkey cage just in time. have you ever seen a peeing monkey?!
he worked on getting the head in the hole pose down. lauren wasn't as cooperative.
benjamin chose his green crocs today.
and i ended the afternoon here. took a tiny nap in the 70degree sunshine and read a bit. THIS was nice.
