this morning we drove a short distance to redwood falls, where alexander ramsey state park (and mcdonalds) awaited us. it was a beautiful morning to be outside, and at the park there was a little zoo and parks to play in. we had a nice little getaway and benjamin and lauren were able to lunch on mcdonalds on their way home. (a treat because our new ulm mcdonalds is being renovated)

after trying to feed several animals (peacocks, geese, goats) we found that the chicken and rooster loved eating corn the most!
benjamin's favorite slide! it was pretty tall...i love that he is so excited and happy that he is jumping!

lauren was studying a caterpillar on the slide. benjamin later rode down the slide and killed the little bugger...

Poor caterpillar...I wasn't there to save it this time. Looks like you all had a good time...especially Jason!
