i feel like i need to make final visits to all of our favorite spots in new ulm before we leave on sunday. new ulm has been such a nice place to live, and there are so many things we will miss once we are gone...three great parks within walking distance, frog pool, flandrau beach, our backyard, the 'little guy' aka herman the german statue up center street...
so tonight we went on a long wagon ride and made our first stop at washington park. it's nearby benjamin's school and a favorite of mine as parks go.

while benjamin took cover in the wagon. he had a camera to entertain himself, but i'm pretty sure this little man will be doing some potty time tomorrow.

after leaving the park we took a long detour home in order to pass by this. the kiddos know it as the 'bubble water'. we've passed by this for at least two years and the kids like to stop and watch the tiny fountain.
this move is hard for me mainly because of the kids. it's our first move with kids...and so this is the only home they've known. so many memories in new ulm and they usually involve benjamin and lauren. sad.
