a long road trip

on sunday the five of us left for a drive down to pensacola, florida.  the main goal was to find a place to call home.  what a trip we had....

lauren loves to peruse magazines.  she has the finger manipulation down.  quite funny to watch!

caught our little man sleeping at one of the "castles" we stayed at.  the kiddos did REALLY well considering how long they were stuck in the car and kept from their routine.

one of the highlights of our two days in pensacola was our beach trip.  we spent most of the time there home-hunting, but before we left we stopped by a beach.  benjamin LOVED the water!  this shocked us!!

okay...lauren was pretty comical to watch while at this beach.  she wanted nothing to do with the water.  she was dancing, jumping, "sliding" down sand, "swimming" in sand...oh she was funny!

back to benjamin.  notice his name in the sand.  he was up catching the brunt of the waves for a long time.  he had so much fun:)

you can never have too many!

so we're home, and although it was a LONG week we have all found places to live for this first year.  so much to do in the next few weeks before moving.  our house needs to sell.  we need to see about selling much of our "stuff" to an auctioneer.  pack.  figure how much stuff we have left and how best to get it down to florida.
