the kiddos are more well-behaved when we can get them out of the house. i actually uploaded these pictures in backwards order...so we'll start at the end of our day...
ben had brought his squirter, and what luck...we had a nearby fountain for him to fill it. both kiddos are in love with water these days.
right before the fountain we played at german park. all went pretty well except for the rocks in the crocs. lauren needed to empty here.
preceeding the playground we parked it to watch a puppet wagon show. it wasn't good, but it was something new for them. afterward the kids could meet the puppets.
after lunch i took a somewhat decent picture of me and my boy...with a cheesy smile.
benjamin and lauren were waiting patiently for our neighbor diana to come home from work for lunch. they like to greet and converse with her and her husband steve. i thought it was funny how they are sitting on the fence.
before lunch we took a walk and ended up at a nearby school's playground. fun for awhile...until benjamin lost it. he was 'on the edge' all day...
and my crazy lauren. she briefly enjoyed some alone time in the trampoline before benjamin returned from his naughty chair to give her grief.
a nice day overall.

love the picture of the kids on the fence..that would awesome in sepia (blown up, of course!). glad to hear that my kids aren't the only ones "on the edge" some days... ;)
