april brought such fantastic weather, while may has been pretty icky. over a week straight of rain, windy and cold :( so today was a treat...we were able to escape the walls of our house and get outdoors again!
benjamin's love of hiding (easter) eggs has not subsided. if he can't talk an adult into hiding eggs for him to find he will hide them himself. and then find them.
lauren is going through a big drama phase. she can pull this pouty look in the blink of an eye...and does it often. 
along with a wagon ride we made a washington park visit. this is probably the kiddos' favorite, although we are lucky enough to have at least 3 parks nearby. 
it's so fun to see lauren doing things she couldn't do last summer!
the morning ended with a (nother) reading of shrek. lauren is quite fond of shrek. so much so that we may take her and benja to see the new one in a theater later this month. it would be their first movie trip.
