a few days ago both benjamin and lauren were up early from naps so it was the perfect opportunity to let them help decorate the cut-out cookies i made that afternoon. benjamin chose orange frosting and lauren chose green.
benjamin's main focus was the flower cookies. he had to count them and put them into stacks. the cookies started on the dining room table...
lauren started sneaking licks and bites. i was still in the kitchen mixing the frosting and caught her...
eyes like her brother's
back to ben and the flower cookies. he moved them to the opposite end of the table and then into the living room on the coffee table. eventually he let me frost them.
lauren and sprinkles. one cookie ended up with sprinkles. the rest found themselves on lauren's face:)
