DQ

today was just a perfect day to spend outside. jason mowed, the kiddos played with eggs and bubbles and random items in the shed. we had burgers and hotdogs for lunch that jason had grilled for us and then...we made our fist official visit to DQ :) we didn't go all-out...just sundaes and a cone for me. we'll go back for the big stuff later!

apparently my cone was a hit with the kiddos. note, if i had actually ordered them cones of their own, they wouldn't have wanted them.
benny and lauren took turns with MY cone. started out with licks back and forth and then ben decided he wanted the cone itself.

at that point i gave up my cone. it was theirs:)

lauren has this new smile pose. when you ask her to 'smile big' this is what she gives you!

as i type, jason is still over at our neighbors' house helping him plant this tree. he won't like that i took this picture and especially that i posted it. i can tell he enjoyed his laborous afternoon, though:)
