funny comparison

as i was uploading pictures, i happened to see a few taken at the very beginning of march. i found it funny that we went from

THIS

to THIS in about 30 days.
i love the snow, but i'm okay with the fact that it is gone. actually despite the 60 degrees we've had we still have a few snow hills around new ulm. telling as to how much snow we received this winter.

today was SOOO nice. the wind has died down and the sun is out. lauren and i actually bared our pale skin. the kiddos saddled up the wagon and we headed to washington park before lunch. a great time!

the plan was to color Easter eggs before naptime, but we didn't make it. the eggs were already boiled when benjamin found them and proceeded to claim them as his own...referring to them as his golden eggs. so mesmerized with his 'soft golden eggs' that he had trouble finishing his own lunch. i hope he's in the mood to share when he wakes up so that we can get them colored and hide them in the yard :)
