taken by myself...lauren doesn't seem to approve

this morning i decided to make the big switch...moving ben from pull-ups to underwear. i tried this several months ago, and decided he wasn't ready. he's had some really successful weeks of holding and waiting to go on the potty...so i know he can do it. lately, though, he's been getting lazy. so this lead me to this morning. it was a really rough start. he did NOT want to wear the underwear. crying, screaming, begging for diapers...yikes. only 'stevesongs' and a poptart could calm this boy down. much to my surprise he was very calm the rest of the morning. he was even very sweet to lauren (allowing me to pull out the camera and continue in my quest for a really good picture of the two of them!). the first time he peed his pants his comment was, 'hot peepee!'. i found that pretty funny. he went through many changes, and i wouldn't call it much of a success, but i'm determined. i'm also calm:)
