so many of you know that benjamin isn't too eager to jump into anything too new. this morning was a great example of that. jason and i took the kids to a little teddy bear band thingy at a nearby elementary school. at first ben wouldn't even go into the gym. the hallway seemed safest...
after about 10 minutes of me inching closer to the gym, along with the help of a pack of blue nummies, we made it inside.
although not willing to join most of the other kids up front by the band, he did start to have fun in the back...
still not dancing or participating with the band, but finding other fun with the help of papa...
ben at one point thought it was time he put away everyone's chair...
we ended the show with never having gone up front to dance, but benjamin was successful as a lawnmower. oh, lauren pretty much did her own thing (you can see her here in the background). she enjoyed the freedom of not having ben trying to take everything from her (he's still learning to share).
