a tooth, size 9s, and a return to the park

at lauren's 1-year check up we were asking about having her fitted for dentures...she was still toothless. granted, it didn't slow her grazing habits but it seemed kind of late not to have one. to our excitement she finally sprouted her first little toofer! yay! onto shoes...i have been searching for a pair of shoes for ben for awhile now. he isn't very helpful when i try to measure so i've been guessing and landed on a size 9. first two pair from zappos weren't the ones. i went online to zappos again monday night and found a pair with some promise. they arrived the next afternoon, no charge...amazing. his new teva keagans are perfect! he tried them out at the park this afternoon for the first time and all went well. it was a relatively nice day here, mid-30s and NO wind, finally. so great to be outside again.
